Tennis carries a history shaped not only by the sport itself, but by the wider world around it.
Few moments in tennis compare to being courtside during the European tournament season. Across Rome, Monte Carlo and Paris, the game is played in historic settings — close to the city, and shaped as much by place as by the tennis itself.
Our trips are designed around experiencing these weeks in a considered way: premium seats, a well-located base, and time away from the tournament to enjoy where you are.

The Italian Open 2026 – Rome
The Italian Open — a Masters 1000 event — is distinct in being a combined ATP and WTA tournament, held at the Foro Italico, and in the atmosphere that creates.
Alongside it sits the opportunity for another — or perhaps first — visit to Rome, with time for walking, sightseeing and relaxed dinners. It becomes a rewarding few days: a sense of having experienced a great deal, yet still with more to return for.
A small group trip is being finalised for the 2026 tournament, with arrival on 10 May. The group so far is a mix of solo travellers and those coming with a partner or friend.
The stay is centred around a day at the Italian Open, with premium seats on Campo Centrale. Based in Monti, it is easy to walk to key sites — from the Colosseum and Roman Forum to the Palatine Hill and beyond.
There is a welcome drink on arrival, time together at the tennis, and on the final evening, dinner in Trastevere. Informal walking tours and other activities can be arranged according to individual preferences.
Hosted throughout, so everything is thoughtfully in place, while still allowing space to experience Rome in your own way.
Flights can be arranged independently — everything else is taken care of.
New destinations on the horizon
Across Europe, tennis is played in places that are as much part of the experience as the matches themselves — from coastal resorts to cities where venues sit within the fabric of the city.
The Hellenic Championship 2026 – Athens
We visited the inaugural Hellenic Tennis Championship in Athens last year.
While a smaller ATP 250 tournament, it offers a great experience — good tennis combined with time in one of Europe’s classic cities. Early November still brings warm days and blue skies, and a welcome change of pace.
The organisers are currently finalising the ATP licence for this year’s event. Once confirmed, it is our intention to shape a stay along similar lines — centrally located, some time on court at the Athens Lawn Tennis Club, and space to experience Athens at your own pace.
Looking Ahead
The 2026 Italian Open is just the beginning. Future trips will be shaped around the tournaments and places that feel most worth travelling for.
