The Italian Open – Rome
In early May 2026 our small group gathered over a rooftop glass of wine in Monti. Over the following days, we spent time at the Italian Open, explored Rome individually, and shared dinners, conversations, and even a birthday celebration. The group came together easily in the way these trips are intended to be, parting as friends who enjoyed the trip and each other’s company.
Careful planning and organisation are a given, though it is the people who truly make these experiences what they are.

Looking forward to 2027
We now have premium tickets for next year’s tournament and are finalising the other elements of the visit. We especially look forward to returning to Rome for what is one of the best tournaments on the European circuit — not least because it brings together the leading ATP and WTA players as they advance towards Roland Garros.
The Monte-Carlo Masters 2027
The first ATP Masters 1000 tournament of the European clay-court season, the Monte-Carlo Masters has long been one of our favourite events. Although Monaco is naturally associated with wealth and glamour, the tournament itself has a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere that makes it especially enjoyable for tennis fans.
The 2026 title was won by Jannik Sinner, who defeated defending champion Carlos Alcaraz in the final. In recent years, Stefanos Tsitsipas has also enjoyed great success here, lifting the trophy three times in the last six editions.
We’ve been visiting Monte Carlo for more than ten years, and it’s one of those tournaments people often return to year after year. Early spring sunshine, time to relax on the Côte d’Azur, and a more intimate venue all add to its appeal. As the first major clay tournament of the season, it marks the road to Rome and Roland Garros.
The tournament is easily reached via Nice Airport, with beautiful places such as Beaulieu-sur-Mer, Villefranche-sur-Mer and Monaco itself all within easy reach.
We are now planning a hosted trip to the 2027 Monte-Carlo Masters. Drawing on our experience of both the tournament and the region, it will follow a similar format to our Rome trips, combining world-class tennis with carefully chosen accommodation, time to explore, and a relaxed, small-group experience in keeping with our philosophy.
