Costa Navarino Tennis Holidays

For a different kind of tennis holiday.

Different in style to our tournament trips, the Costa Navarino escape is a little longer — combining a quality Mouratoglou tennis programme with time to enjoy the resort and wider Messinia region.

The philosophy though remains the same as our 2026 Italian Open trip: a hosted small group, relaxed and welcoming, whether you are travelling solo, with friends or a partner. With a good balance of connection and personal time to reset as needed.

Why Costa Navarino

Situated on the southwest coast of the Peloponnese mainland, Costa Navarino is a modern Mediterranean resort destination and home to the first European Mouratoglou Tennis Centre.

Surrounded by natural beauty and the ancient history of Messinia, with pristine sandy beaches along the southern Ionian, it offers far more than purely tennis — from golf and other sports to culture and outdoor pursuits.

Evenings bring a wide choice of dining, from Greek and Lebanese to Japanese, in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Five-star accommodation completes the experience, backed by the warmth of authentic Greek hospitality.

The Westin Resort

The five-star Westin Resort, Costa Navarino, sits between the natural beauty of Messinia and the Ionian Sea.

The trip includes a Deluxe Garden View room with a private terrace or patio. Contemporary in design, the rooms are spacious, calm and well placed within the resort, making it easy to move between the hotel, tennis centre, beach, pools and restaurants throughout the week. Optional upgrades include sea-view rooms and suites with private pools.

Breakfast is included, together with an arrival reception and one group dinner during the week. The other evenings are left open, with the option to dine together within Costa Navarino or head into nearby Pylos. We feel this flexibility is important, allowing for both shared experiences and personal time, rather than a packed schedule.

There is an excellent choice of restaurants and bars, from relaxed beachside seafood and traditional Greek dining to Japanese and other international options.

After morning tennis, the rest of the day is free to do as much or as little as you wish. For those looking for something more active, options include cycling, water sports and golf. Costa Navarino has become one of Europe’s leading golf destinations, with four signature 18-hole courses.

Just beyond the resort are the famous omega-shaped Voidokilia Beach and the Gialova Lagoon. Messinia also has a rich history stretching back over 4,500 years, with classical temples, Byzantine churches and medieval castles.

It’s one of the country’s most beautiful and unspoiled landscapes and, joined to the mainland by only a little strip of land, it’s got all the island vibes, with none of the crowds. Our pick of the region is Costa Navarino, which sits along the coast, next to quaint and quiet fishing villages”

I think the experience for those who love tennis is unrivalled here at the Mouratoglou Tennis Centre, because we have trainers completely devoted to the sport, passionate, and with vast experience”

Patrick Mouratoglou

The Tennis Programme

We were drawn to Costa Navarino when Patrick Mouratoglou opened his first European centre there in 2021. It brought together much of what we seek in a tennis trip: first-class coaching, a beautiful setting, and much more beyond the tennis itself.

The centre does not offer group programmes, so it was a natural choice to offer ours here in partnership with a team we have come to know well since 2021.

Many of the coaches are former junior internationals and are rigorously trained in Mouratoglou’s methodology. His philosophy is that every player, whatever their experience, is an individual with potential and deserves to be respected.

Many guests will be regular club players at intermediate to advanced level. However, all abilities can be accommodated through small groups of up to four players per coach. Self-assessment at booking is reviewed by the coaching team in advance and on arrival, helping ensure players are matched with others of a similar standard.

This is not an intense training camp, but it is serious enough for you to make sustainable progress based on the effort you put in. The programme includes six two-hour morning sessions, followed by a final closing tournament — an opportunity to apply the week’s development in a sociable and lightly competitive setting.

Daily sessions combine technical work with tactics, serving and match play situations, so that learning translates naturally into real points and matches.

For those wanting even more tennis, additional private coaching or arranged play can be added during the week, alongside padel or pickleball.

Your Costa Navarino Experience

Groups are intentionally kept small. This creates a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, with a balance of easy social connection and personal choice.

Our next trip to Costa Navarino is for seven nights, arriving on 23 October 2026.

However you plan to travel, you’re very welcome to get in touch. Many find an informal conversation helpful in understanding how the week works, and whether it feels like the right fit.

You’re very welcome to call on 07825 750099 if that’s easier, or simply send an enquiry.
