Tournament visits

Roland Garros, aviation pioneer, and first to fly across the Mediterranean stated, “Victory belongs to the most tenacious”, inscribing it on his aircraft propellors. The words now appear on opposite stands in Court Philippe Chatrier, one in French “La victoire appartient au plus opiniâtre” one English. Tennis has a rich and long history intertwined with the world around it.

ATP and WTA Tournaments have evolved to the height of performance achieved by modern tennis professionals. Elite athletes shaped by hard work, talent, desire and experienced coaching. Skill and endurance only fully appreciated at live events. An atmosphere best experienced in person, whether the old Olympic Stadium in Rome, Foro Italico, or the French Open.

The European season offers year round opportunities for the spectator. We will carefully select those which offer the perfect combination of tournament, city, cultural immersion and excellent hotels.

First tournament visits will be in 2026, possibly the Monte-Carlo Masters or Internazionali BNL d’Italia

Trips will include cultural visits in the host city and, occasionally combined with some fun playing as well.

Tickets will be carefully chosen, for example, to avoid stands which face the sun for most of the day, and with excellent views of the tennis.

The world of tennis is constantly evolving with new formats. One, the fast-paced Ultimate Tennis Showdown (UTS) is held in the 2,000-year-old Arena of Nimes, built about the same time as the Colosseum in Rome. A fitting venue for a gladiatorial competition.

A Greek Davis cup tie was held in the Panathenaic Stadium in Athens. Another example of an atmospheric tennis experience.

Additional locations

There is little or no need to go beyond Europe’s shores for memorable travel experiences centred around tennis. We will constantly strive to identify the best and take the hard work out of arranging them. Always willing to listen to suggestions or specific requests. The list is endless.

Bookings

New Tennis Venues, Tournament Visits and additional dates at existing venues will be announced in our Newsletters as they become available. However, if there is a particular event which you might be interested in and to be notified as early as possible, please register your interest.
